About:
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent college graduate to serve in a dynamic dual role as Executive Assistant and Paralegal to the Managing Partner in our Stamford, CT office. This entry-level position offers an exceptional opportunity to launch your career while gaining valuable experience in both administrative support and paralegal functions.
The ideal candidate will serve as the Managing Partner's right hand, managing their personal and professional calendars, organizing travel, coordinating communications, and providing case specific legal support including work on focus groups, depositions and trials. They'll develop professional skills in a fast-paced environment while learning the inner workings of a law firm from the ground up. This position is perfect for someone who is organized, adaptable, and eager to grow in the legal field.
This position offers a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor and work closely with firm leadership while developing both administrative and legal skills. You will gain a depth of experience unlike any other opportunity, particularly in Connecticut.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary assistant to the Managing Partner, acting as a gatekeeper for their schedule and ensuring efficient time management
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and appointments, maintaining complex and evolving personal and professional calendars
Prepare and edit correspondence, emails, and basic legal documents under supervision
Assist with case organization and file management in electronic systems
Coordinate travel arrangements and registrations for personal and professional events
Track expenses and receipts
Coordinate and recruit for focus groups
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
Assist with client communications and serve as a professional point of contact
Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and organizing case materials
Take notes (either personally of via AI) during meetings and prepare summaries for the Managing Partner
Act as the personal concierge to the Managing Partner to help free him up on errands and personal matters, so that he can focus on his highest-value work
Qualifications:
Recent bachelor's degree graduate (legal studies, business, communications, or related field preferred)
A Notary Public or willing/able to obtain notary commission in CT upon hiring (don’t worry we have the expense covered!)
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Quick learner with ability to adapt to legal software and case management systems
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines
Willingness to work in-office in Stamford, CT location (may be opportunities to work remote occasionally when the Managing Partner is traveling)
Prior internship or coursework in legal settings or professional office settings so you have basic understanding of the functioning of an office is required
Enthusiasm for professional growth and developing paralegal/administrative skills
